He's happier than he looks. Really.
I somehow got excited about the whole babywearing thing before Wil was born. Too much time in Victoria seeing all the flower children with their babies in comfy-looking slings? Perhaps. It is pretty darn comfy. Except for the part where the baby is really, really warm and your shirt gets all sweaty.
We've progressed from a cradle-hold position to a snuggle position (inward facing) to an outward facing position and now onto the back - the Tibetan carry. Can I say how much I love the Tibetan carry? Baby gets to look around, but can rest against mom or dad's back if he wants; doesn't feel nearly as hot as when in the snuggle position, and I can get some stuff done without having to lean over him so as to not bonk him on the counters. I tried doing dishes with him in the wrap on my front one day and yeouch, did my back hurt afterwards. He feels a lot lighter in the Tibetan carry too. Now if only I could manage to get him up there by myself!

Why yes, those are organic free-range carrots, why do you ask?
