For those who haven't heard the story before (it just broke yesterday), a Conservative candidate in BC kind of forgot to mention to the constituency association that he was awaiting trial for smuggling while trying for the Conservative nomination. Jackass. Oh, how I loathe the kind of people who are willing to hurt the chances of every Conservative in the country for their own personal gain. This is not the type of thing I expect out of people running for our party. Too many people have worked too hard for too long to bring this party where it is.

Luckily for us, he won't be sitting as a Conservative if he even manages to get elected. We have higher standards for our elected representatives.
