Well, the season is officially over, and I have to say I'm a little sad. Calgary's run last year really brought me back to the game I liked so much as a kid, and now I'm probably going to lose interest again. I don't know much about salary caps and luxury taxes and all that, but I do think it was a little stupid of the team owners to offer ridiculous salaries that they really couldn't afford in the first place. Your star player wants ten million dollars and you don't have it? Well, sometimes you just have to let them go.

All hope is not lost though... we can still try to free Stanley!
