I was reading the Lost recap just now and had to fight to keep from laughing my fool head off in the office (btw, that link will make all kinds of horrible airplane crashy noises that may cause you to peer around in alarm if you have your headphones on and open it in a background tab or window, thus not noticing the animation sequence).

ANYway, back to the Lost recap. The recapper got to the point of the show where some of the various characters are being introduced:

"We meet Sayid and Charlie; Sayid is from the Middle East, Charlie from the Shire."

Hee! I think poor Dom Monaghan is going to be getting the hobbit jokes for a very long time.
