Yes, I am greatly amused by this once-every-four-years day. It extends my favorite month, the BEST month, by one whole day. February's great because it has my Groundhog's day, my birthday, Valentine's Day, reading break, Family Day (in Alberta only, boo) and now Leap Day. Yippee!

It is also my favorite little airline's birthday today. WestJet is now two (really) eight years old. I am so happy to have WestJet. They have quite a few flights a day direct Victoria to Calgary and vice versa. I'm pretty lucky that my hometown is their hub; wherever I go in this country, I can likely get cheap, direct flights back home. Plus they're more fun to fly with than Air Canada. I actually pay attention to their safety demonstrations because they crack jokes, and I love that. Happy Birthday, WestJet!

I would love to go hiking today (Matt and I went biking yesterday and I just don't have the right muscles for it at all), but I think I've got to stay in and get a metric assload of marking done.
